I normally run human pally builds so take both 2hf and PA at level 1 due to the free feat. I would also add that Rafars' advice above is worth taking note of.

All epic von runs will now give you tokens and you now use those to upgrade any item from the pack (all the old SSS items have been changed the same way so level 20 loot is now definitely worth looking into as set bonuses have been added to a lot of this old gear) so if you have 1 it is definitely worth epifying as at level 20 on a palli the ESOS is extremely good. If you have a sword of shadows lurking in your bank these have been made a lot easier to make epic. Just a quick line to raise another noteworthy change in the game since you've been away. The same basic feat setup can also be used for a Barb build as well. this also works on most single target attacks (trip, stun, etc). It wont be bad it just wont be great either).ġ) Power attack (switch out for precision at level 20 if you go into epics)ġ2) G2HF (at this point the 3 2hf feats will give you 140% strike through so you will hit 2 monsters every swing (providing they are in combat range ofc) with a 40% chance of hitting a 3rd. You will end up with a fairly generic cookie cutter build but it will perform well and quite easily manage low reapers right up till cap.įor feats I would suggest the following (switch out THF for TWF if you stay with that style. Apart from that just build for Max strength and as much con as you can manage then try and put as many AP as you can into the KOTC enhancement tree for dps with a liberal sprinkling into SD for survivability.

2hf is generally the easiest style atm as it gives good dps plus has the bonus of being able to strike multiple opponents with each swing via strike through (which makes soloing a lot easier).

2wf however is not in the best of places and (with the exception of a few specific builds) is generally the weaker of the melee combat styles. thanksWell palli is a good choice as they are in a good place right now.

Last night I was bored so I TRed my arcane archer to a TWF pali but im kinda winging this! so if ya know something I could follow that would be great. I'm a 36 point build I think I have a +4 inherent to my tomes? I have a lot of past lives but only ranger is at 3 and I have 15 reaper points. sorry been so long I forgot about a lot of that stuff.

I'd be willing to bet that Monk/Soul Blade is also good, with a very different play style than what I described above, though I can't vouch for it personally. Thanks for the reply. Ascendant/Helwalker w/ dual hand mortars is pretty absurd: the hand mortar AoE works with Stunning Surge and you're very likely to get the cost refunded when hitting a large number of enemies you can have +10 INT (which means a very long duration on Ascended status and huge increase to the size of AoE abilities and hand mortar attacks) and +10 MIG at all times from Duality of Mortal Presence and the Helwalker passive, respectively as a ranged character, you don't have to worry much about taking damage if you play intelligently, so that mitigates some of the "risk" (read: greater micromanagement) associated with playing a Helwalker. The martial abilities of the monk accelerate the focus generation of the cipher. Monk/Cipher: I just like both classes, but I don't see how these classes have synergy or support one another.
